A study in tectonic evolution, this South Yarra residence transforms the familiar language of the suburban brick veneer into a highly articulated, sculptural form. The design centers on the poetic reclamation of masonry utilising the existing brick palette to anchor a new, contemporary silhouette within the heritage streetscape.

A striking 'hit-and-miss' brick screen serves as the primary architectural veil, providing a commanding street presence that meticulously balances transparency with total domestic seclusion. By integrating the site’s original character into a rhythmic, perforated facade, the project maintains a respectful dialogue with its neighbors while asserting a bold, modern identity.
